Jeffry Rail Control Center: (Use this number only to activate and close permits. Please submit permit requests by email and cc all three TRAX Track Access Coordinators. TRAX Track Access Permits for the following week (Sunday – Saturday) must be submitted by 11:00 AM Thursday. Please make sure to fill out the correct permit for the area you wish to access. There are two types of Access Permits one for TRAX & one for FRONTRUNNER. Required for any work on or around UTA’s rail right of way (both active and inactive corridors). Flagging and Special Inspection fees are listed under the Licensing tab in "Fee Schedule". Please click on the Roadway Worker Training tab for additional information on that training. Please note: All persons working on UTA Right of Way Property will need to take UTA’s Roadway Worker Protection and Rail Safety Training. You will not be issued a Track Access Permit until you have a Right of Entry or permission to enter from UTA’s Property department. The process time may vary due to extenuating circumstances, so please apply early. They are more specifically explained in the Procedures document below.Īpplications need to be submitted a minimum of ten (10) business days prior to when you plan to start work. Required document that gives individuals, businesses, or contractors’ permission to work and/or access UTA property. Any incomplete applications received will not be processed. Please be sure to read the License Procedures page to verify that you submit everything necessary to process your request. If you want to access UTA property or would like to install wirelines, pipelines, or other encumbrances on UTA property you will need to get a License. Please review the Roadway Worker Training section below for more information on how to register for the certification. Other times may be requested and scheduled based on availability. Proof of current certification is required BEFORE any access will be granted on UTA Rights of Way. Other Requirements to Enter UTA Property and Rights of Way. These visits can be scheduled in advance of an executed Right of Entry. Please plan on this so as not to hold up your construction schedules. NOTE: A site visit may be required by operations BEFORE any work can begin to determine the safety measures required for the access. Track Access Permits will not be issued without an executed Right of Entry Agreement. Please review the track access information for applicable projects. Please be sure to review the application checklist, procedures, fee schedule and insurance requirements. Right of Entry applications need to be submitted a MINIMUM of ten (10) business days before requested start date. Also, if not all line items on the application are answered it will delay application processing until complete. NOTE:Incomplete applications will not be processed until all requested items, listed on both the application and procedures, have been submitted.
